PMMA Edge Banding (Polymethyl Methacrylate)

PMMA is a well established high grade thermoplastic, which has recently set new technical and aesthetic standards in edge banding.

PMMA edge bandings are commonly known as 3D or acrylic. Ultra transparent acrylic has a decorative finish applied to the back creating a special 3D effect which in turn, if applied correctly, can offer a seamless transition between edges.

3D edge bands are suitable for areas where a high level of wear and tear may occur. Scratches and pressure marks can easily be removed and rectified by rebuffing the material.

The matt silk surface of 3D edge band can be polished to almost any desired sheen making this edge band perfect for all furniture applications.
